But through so many conversations, we’ve also learnt that help doesn’t always have to be practical. We sat down with Jae and Kalin, Co-CEO's of La Fève UK to get to know them and this stunning brand a little better.

Your name and role with La Fève? 

Hi! We’re Jae and Kalin, the duo bringing La Fève chocolates to the UK. We believe these unique, artisan treats deserve to be tasted and treasured here, in one of the world’s most chocolate-loving countries. More chocolate = more joy, right?

Why did you bring La Fève to the UK?

It all started with a single chocolate bonbon. We were chatting about the unique flavours of our home countries - South Korea and Bulgaria - when Kalin mentioned a yuzu chocolate he couldn’t stop thinking about. “The best I’ve ever had,” he said, eyes wide. Bold claim... 

As a lifelong chocolate lover, Jae was intrigued…and a little sceptical. The next day, Kalin handed her a box of La Fève. She thought she’d tried it all, but this was different. Every detail - the aesthetic, the textures, the delicate flavours - created an experience that felt truly special.

Right then and there, we knew: more people needed to taste this joy.

La Fève is a small, passionate team led by the brilliant chocolatier Pavel in Bulgaria. His team brings curiosity, joy, and a touch of mischief into every creation. La Fève is all about bold flavours, creative expression, and making meaningful moments through chocolate.

What has been the most impactful and helpful gift you've received from a loved one and why? 

Jae:  A care box filled with meals and my favourite snacks during a time I barely had the time or energy to cook. It wasn’t just helpful, it was emotionally nourishing. Thoughtfulness like that stays with you.

Kalin: I have to say that the most impactful gift I have received was a journal notebook. What made it special was the message and the words of wisdom that the notebook came with, which for the first time in my life made me sit down and reflect my thoughts onto paper. Since then, I look at the humble notebook in a whole new way.

Tell us 3 - 4 words that best describe your Inner Circle (you know, the ones who look after you while you're busy looking after everyone else):

Supportive, caring, understanding, unconditional. That’s the kind of love we try to pass on with every La Fève box.
